About the Designer Behind Heal Your Website

Web Design for Therapists, Built by a Therapist

Heal Your Website was born from a unique combination of two professions: therapy and web design.

Alongside my work as a therapist, I have spent more than 12 years running a successful clinic in Oxford and previously spent 4 years living in Edinburgh, where I created and developed a thriving clinic space for therapists and holistic practitioners.

Through these experiences, I've gained a deep understanding of what it takes to build a successful therapy practice, not only from a clinical perspective, but from a business perspective too.

This insight shapes every website I create.

I understand that therapists don't simply need a beautiful website. They need a website that supports their business, reduces unnecessary administration, attracts the right clients, and allows them to focus on the work they are passionate about.

A Therapist's Understanding of What Clients Need

Because I continue to work within the therapeutic field, I understand the client journey from both sides.

I know that when someone visits a therapist's website, they are often looking for more than information. They are looking for reassurance, connection, trust, and a sense that they have found the right practitioner.

That's why I design websites that help visitors feel:

  • Safe and welcomed

  • Clear about the services offered

  • Confident in taking the next step

  • Able to book easily and conveniently

A website should create the same sense of care and professionalism that clients experience when they walk through your clinic door.

Supporting the Business Behind the Healing Work

Therapists are often passionate about helping people, but many spend far more time than they'd like managing emails, answering repetitive questions, organising appointments, and handling administration.

Having run busy clinics myself, I understand these challenges first-hand.

A well-designed website can become one of the most valuable members of your team.

It can:

  • Answer common client questions

  • Guide visitors towards the right service

  • Manage appointment bookings

  • Collect enquiries efficiently

  • Reduce administrative workload

  • Support your visibility on Google

When these systems work effectively, therapists can spend less time managing their business and more time doing the work they love.

Creating Sustainable Therapy Practices

One thing I've learned over the years is that healing work and business success are not separate.

A sustainable therapy practice requires both.

When therapists have clear systems, professional websites, and streamlined processes, they create the stability that allows them to continue supporting clients without becoming overwhelmed themselves.

Your website should play an active role in that process.

It should quietly work behind the scenes, welcoming visitors, answering questions, supporting bookings, and helping new clients find you.

Why I Design Websites for Therapists

As both a therapist and web designer, I bring a perspective that many web designers simply don't have.

I understand:

  • The emotional nature of client work

  • The importance of trust and safety

  • The realities of running a clinic

  • The challenges of balancing client care with administration

  • The need for websites that genuinely support business growth

My goal is to create websites that reflect the quality of your work while making it easier for your practice to thrive.

The Heart of Heal Your Website

At Heal Your Website, I combine years of experience in therapy, clinic management, and web design to create websites that support practitioners both professionally and personally.

Beautiful design matters.

Good SEO matters.

Easy booking systems matter.

But most importantly, your website should give you more time and energy to focus on your clients.

Because when your website is working effectively in the background, you can focus on what you do best: helping people heal, grow, and transform their lives.
